“Beware of no man more than yourself; we carry our worst enemy within us” – Charles Spurgeon
You are your own limitations. When you look into the mirror, the person hindering your going forward is exactly the person looking straight at you in that mirror. What we need sometimes is just to make that decision and take that step for our lives to turn around but so many times we are laid back, we don’t want to ‘ruffle any feathers’ we are complacent and not ready to move. If you do not move, God will not move you. It is said that through perseverance, the snail got into the ark. You cannot sit in a place and expect the result you have only dreamt about. What do you have in your hands? God is a specialist in using what we have in our hands and turning this into a huge blessing. The rod in the hands of Moses became a mighty tool of deliverance. The jawbone in the hands of Samson became a weapon of war. The little cruise of oil in the hands of the widow brought in prosperity. The five loaves of bread and two fish fed thousands of hungry souls. The mantle in the hands of Elijah divided Jordan river. When God takes what you have in your hands, He performs wonders with them. Don’t sit down and wait; get up and move on.
